From breaking ground to finish, it is a long process. Landscapes
generally get pushed back because the cost of the foundation, road, luls, etc.
In all reality, landscape architecture is a very important part of your
footprint into the surroundings, involving erosion, human resources (crops,
etc.)
When hiring your contractor, ask critical questions about drainage and
erosion. Realize the compact of your footprint. If you have to pay
more initially for professional work, the long-term gain is exponential.
I enjoy renovations as these are the greatest challenges. Usually,
there is material to work with, which always holds its own or gives value to the
property. Curb appeal is a popular concept. Realistically, if you
had a house that needed attention, create a few beds. Take the hydraulics
from areas they shouldn't be located and/or maintain them. Ultimately, if
someone is going to buy real estate, they don't want to have to landscape it
too.
